Meet the Team
Warwickshire Young Voices is under the direction of David Iles. He is a local Primary School Teacher with an honours degree in Music, majoring in composition. He has years of experience as both a singer and professional musician, playing piano and French horn.
David is a published composer, having won prizes for his works which have been sung by prestigious choirs such as the BBC Singers. He regularly composes new works for the choir, giving them a great opportunity to sing new music and often to make the first ever CD recording!
Our two singing tutors, Helen Iles and Natalie Pinfield-Williams are both professional people. They are also highly qualified musicians and singers, with over 25 years experience between them.
Helen is a Clarinetist and Saxophonist with a background as Concert and Theatre Orchestra Musician, playing at venues across Europe. She is an accomplished Alto and enjoys teaching youngsters how to sing in harmony.
Natalie is a Soprano with a Diploma in Music Theatre Performance (DipLCM). She is a talented soloist in her own right and loves inspiring children to gain the confidence to sing solos within the choir.
